A working estate,
held to the old ways

Three hundred acres of Suffolk woodland, pasture and parkland — farmed, planted and stewarded by the same family who keep its gates open to guests, gundogs and the seasons.

Broke Hall Park
Our Story

Rooted in the land, built for the long view

Broke Hall Farm brings a Suffolk manor and its surrounding land back into working life — nursery beds and grazing pasture, a small shoot, a shepherd hut stay, and firewood cut from our sustainable woodland. Every enterprise on the estate answers to the same principle: manage the land well, and it will provide for generations beyond this one.

What We Do

Six enterprises, one estate

Estate & Land Management

Long-term stewardship of woodland, hedgerow and pasture across the estate.

Nursery & Plant Production

Trees, hedging and perennials grown on-site for our own planting and for sale.

Shepherd Huts & Hospitality

A handful of huts set among the parkland, for quiet stays away from it all.

Farming & Livestock

Grazing flocks and mixed farming, worked in step with the seasons.

Shoot & Conservation

A managed shoot alongside habitat and hedgerow work that supports it.

Firewood Supply

Seasoned logs cut from our own coppice, sold direct through the winter.

Stay With Us

Shepherd huts among the parkland

Fitted simply, warmed properly, and close enough to the Hall for breakfast but far enough for real quiet.

From the Estate

Nursery stock grown for Suffolk ground

We propagate native trees, hedging whips and hardy perennials for our own restoration planting — and sell the surplus to neighbouring farms and gardens taking on the same work.
